About the event

Join us for a great day out at Blenheim Palace

The palace is named after the 1704 Battle of Blenheim. It was originally intended to be a reward to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough for his military triumphs against the French and Bavarians in the War of the Spanish Succession, culminating in the Battle of Blenheim

To discover more about the history of this wonderful old house which is also the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill , we hope that you will join us.

Your ticket includes parking at KGV Effingham (we have 15 spaces booked and car sharing will be necessary), travel to and from Blenheim and entry to the Palace, Park and Gardens.

Refreshments are available on site but are not included in the price of £47.50 per person

The coach will leave Effingham at 9.30am and we have been reliably informed that the journey takes somewhere between 1.5 hours and 2 hours each way. We hope to be back at around 6pm. Further details will be circulated nearer the time.
